Short description of the machine

The linear guide rails are a self developed aluminum profile. Into this profile a hardened steel rail as guidance for the track rollers is mounted. The machine is powered by high performance stepping motors and slack-free ball screw.

Significant construction elements of all versions (special, standard):

  • 2 pillars and the Y profile are embedded into the base frame. The base frame is made of a massive sealing compound. This gives a high stability and vibration reduction.
  • The X and Z axis modules are a unit. This is tightly screwed with the pillars and can be adjusted.
  • Aluminium parts are not anodized.
  • The milling units contain adaptors for vacuum cleaning.
  • 4 mounting and transport holes in the base frame to mount the machine to a table. Normally they are covered by a rubber sheet.
  • Electronic and power supply is integrated into the base frame.
  • Energy chains for cables to X and Z axis.
  • Integrated protection cell made of non-breakable acrylic glass, to protect the environment for noise and dust. The machine can be observed while it is working. The cell can be opened widely so it don’t disturb setup and cleaning.
